Lisa Grotherus is a Swedish composer, woodwind player and vocalist creating music where jazz, folk traditions, improvisation and performing arts meet.

Her work spans concert music, theatre, interdisciplinary performances and artistic collaborations, often exploring the relationship between music, movement and storytelling. Alongside her own projects, she collaborates with ensembles, theatres and artists across Sweden.

As a performer, she appears as a clarinetist, bass clarinetist, flautist and vocalist in projects spanning jazz, folk, chamber music and improvised music, and has collaborated with artists including Frida Hyvönen, Loney Dear, Amanda Ginsburg, Sara Parkman and Iiris Viljanen.

As a composer, her music has been commissioned and performed by ensembles including Duo Kondens, and presented in concert halls, theatres and festivals.

Lisa's work has received support from the Swedish Arts Council, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Region Stockholm and STIM, and has been recognised with several grants and awards.
