Livet är härligt, mamma! is a musical performance and album inspired by a child's encounter with the natural world. Through original music, imagination and play, it explores wonder, belonging and the deep connection between humans and nature. At the same time, it reflects on life's fragility — the fear of being left alone, the cycles of growth and decay, and the beauty and cruelty that coexist in the living world. The album will be released by Hoob Records in September 2026.

Dekontee is Lisa Grotherus' debut album of original compositions, exploring the meeting point of jazz, folk music, improvisation and chamber music. Named after the Liberian nickname she was given while living in Liberia, Dekontee means Everything has its time — a phrase that reflects the album's themes of change, presence and belonging. Released in 2018, it was named one of Sweden's best jazz albums of the year by Lira and Göteborgs-Posten. Several of the compositions continue to be performed in concerts and interdisciplinary productions.

Musiken från Min berättelse is a collection of compositions written for the stage production Min berättelse at Dramaten, created together with Swedish Radio. Inspired by true stories of loss, hope, love and resilience, the music weaves together spoken word and improvisation into an intimate listening experience. The album gathers selected works from the performances in newly arranged versions for an ensemble of eight musicians.

Jazz&Art was a concert series curated and produced by Lisa Grotherus, bringing together improvising musicians and artists from other disciplines in newly created collaborations. Each performance explored a different artistic encounter, where jazz met dance, film, visual art and other forms of expression through improvisation and shared creation.

A live performance from the series is featured on the Music page.

Urverk is a collaborative project by Lisa Grotherus and Hampus Norén, exploring the intersection of acoustic and electronic sound. In 2015, the duo composed the score for Åsa Båve's award-winning short film Inte visste jag att det var livet. The music was later released as the EP Låt mig hoppas tills mitt hjärta stannar (2016).
