Lisa Grotherus is a Swedish composer, woodwind player and vocalist whose artistic practice moves between jazz, folk music, contemporary music and performing arts. As both composer and performer, she creates original artistic projects while collaborating with ensembles, theatres and musicians across Sweden. Her artistic work has been supported by the Swedish Arts Council, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Region Stockholm and STIM, and recognised with awards including the SKAP Jazz Award and the Stockholm City Cultural Award.

Lisa Grotherus is a Swedish composer, woodwind player and vocalist whose artistic practice moves between jazz, folk music, contemporary music and performing arts.

She creates original artistic projects for concert stages and theatre, often combining music, storytelling and improvisation. Alongside her own work, she collaborates with ensembles, theatres and musicians across Sweden, and has performed and recorded with artists including Amanda Ginsburg, Sara Parkman, Loney Dear, Nino Ramsby, Frida Hyvönen, Iiris Viljanen and Mats Gustafsson.

Her work ranges from jazz and chamber music to theatre productions, film scores and commissioned works, including Circulorum for Duo Kondens. Recent projects include the children's concert performance and album Livet är härligt, mamma!, released by Hoob Records, and her acclaimed debut album Dekontee, recognised by Lira and Göteborgs-Posten as one of Sweden's notable jazz releases.

As a performer, Lisa appears as a clarinetist, bass clarinetist, flautist and vocalist in projects spanning jazz, chamber music, folk music and improvised music.

Her artistic work has been supported by the Swedish Arts Council, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Region Stockholm and STIM, and recognised with awards including the SKAP Jazz Award and the Stockholm City Cultural Award.
